You collected an NFT, but now what do you do? Obviously, you show it off! The short answer is yes, you can print an NFT. Here’s what you need to know.
How do I print my NFT?
The first thing you need to do is make sure you have permission to print the artwork. Is the artwork in the public domain, or is it licensed in a way that allows you to make a print for personal use? Or has the artist stipulated that the toke holder has the right to print the NFT? If you’re not sure, it’s best to double check with the artist. Owning an NFT doesn’t mean you own the intellectual property, just like owning a copy of a book doesn’t mean you own the rights to its contents. Keep in mind that if you’re printing an NFT artwork that you did not create, you probably don’t have permission to sell products featuring prints of that artwork. If you’d like to sell products featuring a work of art, you should always ask the artist for permission, and it’s best practice to ask them to collaborate with you to work out a licensing deal.

What services exist for printing NFTs?
Infinite Objects falls somewhere between a print and a digital display, in the sense that you can print not only still images, but artworks in the form of GIFs and videos. They are still technically prints, even though they are digital prints, as you can’t swap one NFT for another, but if you’re looking to print a GIF or video, it’s a great choice.
Most printing services, however, are oriented towards still images, and there are plenty of options in that regard.
