When it comes to NFT artwork, a commonly asked question is: “What can you do with them?” The answer is surprisingly simple. You can do what you would do with any artworks, including experiencing them, enjoying them, and, of course, displaying them. But how do you display digital art? Here’s a guide to available resources.

What types of displays are there for digital art?
While you can use a regular monitor, television, or digital tablet to display your NFTs, it’s not recommended–these types of screens are not manufactured and optimized to best showcase artwork, and the quality of colors, textures, and lines may not live up to what your art pieces deserve. And while digital artworks can be displayed in digital spaces like online and on-chain galleries or metaverse galleries, there are plenty of reasons to want to showcase your NFTs in real life, like hanging them from the walls of your home, or including them in galleries and exhibitions showcasing both digital and physical artworks.
There are different types of specially made digital displays that serve specific purposes. Infinite Objects, for example, makes displays that are each intended to permanently house a single piece of digital artwork, and work in partnership with artists to ensure they have permission to print their art.
However, it’s more common for artists, collectors, curators, and gallerists to seek out displays that allow them to change out which pieces of artwork can be shown on them, more akin to a typical photo frame. Tokenframe, NETGEAR’s Meural, and Samsung’s Frame TV are among the most well-known displays intended for digital art.

Tokenframe’s displays come in multiple sizes and connect to wifi. Their app allows you to connect your digital wallet, cast your NFTs to the frames, and connect the frames. Meural displays and Samsung’s Frame TV allow access to libraries of digital art–Meural owners can choose from artworks curated by partners as well as dynamic NFTs from Async, and Samsung’s NFT app allows users to purchase NFTs on Rarible–and they also allow users to display NFTs they already own.
Atomic Form displays, which only come in one size, include an app that aggregates your NFTs across marketplaces and blockchains via a device called the Photon, which comes with their displays, but can also be purchased separately for use with other displays.
Black Dove Digital Canvas is a display that includes membership tier options with purchase that give the owner access to different features.
