the trouble with transitions | digital collage | 2024 | inset

ADHD is a pseudonymous moniker used by US based multidisciplinary artist Colin Frangicetto (aka Space Case). Working in a vast range of mediums & aesthetics he is best known for his cerebral, poetic, abstract digital paintings and collages that blur the line between digital/analog interfaces. Through recursive, meditative and often damaged forms he seeks to create images and objects that simultaneously take him on a journey of self discovery as well as function as personal mirrors for the viewer; showing them what they wish or perhaps need to see in it.  Common themes are neurodivergence, mental illness, transpersonal experiences and post-internet existence. Frangicetto has been exhibiting since 2008 and his work lives in many collections worldwide.

she teased spring, as summer looked so beautiful on her by Bhare

The moment felt warm, and the sun hugged the bristles of grass tightly. The sky danced around the hill, cupping our small blanket perched at the top. The sweet scent of the wind passed by, and life itself felt still—so still that even a picture couldn't capture the moment. Still, I rose to my feet to take in everything around me. In my view was her, teasing the spring as summer looked so beautiful on her.

Drawing inspiration from his personal journals, multi-media artist Shareon Blenman, aka Bhare, imbeds his artworks with reflections of his individual growth and the intimate intricacies of home life. His work is filled with symbolism, reflecting an ever-evolving spectrum of emotions, represented through bold geometric shapes,  figures, and expressive free writing. Post-2019 Pandemic, Bhare delves into the drama of hyper-introversion, cross-examining his place in the world, and probing questions around identity and belonging. In 2021, Bhare entered the Web3 ecosystem, finding success and solidifying his unique artistic identity. His contributions to contemporary art discourse seamlessly merge introspection with technological innovation. Bhare currently lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina. He merges his work through both traditional and  digital styles, exhibiting with prestigious galleries in New York, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, and Copenhagen.

In the distance, just out of focus, there stands a house. If not for the light from the setting sun illuminating its aging walls, it would be so insignificant someone could entirely miss it against the meridian. As birds circle ahead, the dreams and fading paint rot off the pealing walls and decay sets into doors that once contained caring voices. The crops go unattended, the gutters rust away, and as the sun fades this vessel for what could have been falls entirely into darkness.

This digital artwork contains elements of composited digital photography and digital painting.

Cowboy Killer is a digital artist and photographer featured internationally in leading auction houses and major galleries. His artwork tackles heavy emotional topics while leaving an essence of mystery for the viewer to interpret. His work combines composited photography and digital painting.

Escaping my darkness by Faith Love

The human spirit vs adversity.

Faith Love is a self-taught visual artist from Chicago, Illinois, celebrated for her minimalist exploration of the human condition and mental health. Confronted with the overwhelming weight of emotions from childhood trauma that seeped into her adult life, Faith's artistic journey began with words. When words no longer sufficed, she turned to drawing as a therapeutic outlet and challenge, as a way to externalize her emotions rather than being crushed by them.

Her work delves into themes that many find difficult to discuss openly, transforming pain into compelling, raw beauty. Through her art, Faith offers a unique perspective, inviting viewers to confront and connect with their own emotions—a privilege she lacked as a child and young adult, while articulating them with a concise and straightforward approach.

From Bloom to Snow | 花から雪へ by IlanDerech

Year: 2024
Location: Japan
Technique: Composite Cinematography
Equipement: ARRI Alexa Mini

From bloom to snow, the seasons flow,
A dance of time, soft and slow.
Petals fall, and whispers grow,
In twilight’s light, the shadows show.
The cherry blossoms, once aglow,
Now rest beneath a winter’s bow.
In nature’s cycle, we all must go,
From bloom to snow, from bloom to snow.

Derech’s work captures the essence of a haiku, transforming the brevity and depth of its structure into a cinematic experience. Just as a haiku distills a moment into three lines and seventeen syllables, his films channel the beauty of the mundane into three panels and 17-second cuts. He romanticizes everyday moments, whether it’s the busy streets of Tokyo on a rainy night or the gentle flicker of a candle in a Kyoto temple. By slowing time and removing the bustling nature of modern life, he allows viewers to savor each detail, much like a haiku evokes powerful imagery through its simplicity. His work encourages a mindful appreciation of life’s small, often overlooked moments, transforming them into profound visual experiences.

Each body is a labyrinth of memories.

Leonardo, known artistically as iLEOGiVEL, is a Brazilian artist whose work stands out for its sensory exploration and ability to transform images into imaginary and playful worlds. His universes vibrate with sparkling colors that provoke sensations and synesthesia. Influenced by queer and pop culture, as well as abstract art, Leonardo adopts a figurative style that reflects his context and cultural references. His unconscious approach dematerializes the obvious meaning of his creations, attributing to each symbol a deep personal meaning that contributes to his process of self-discovery.

Goodnight Sky - Social Media Copy

Goodnight Sky by Jonathan Wolfe

Acrylic and ink on 12" x 6" wood panel, digitally edited. 2024. Original painting included for free with sale at collector's request.

As summer winds down, I'm often reminded of my childhood, filled with memories of the season and the dread of its end. With school approaching and winter on the horizon, I would strive to make the most of every warm day. Now, much older and far from those school days, these memories serve as fond reminders of a period in my life that has passed. I wanted to create a work that harkens back to these memories and the feelings surrounding the end of summer. A sunset, to me, is a clear example of passing time—it's a beautiful moment, but it can't last forever. I like to think of the sunset near the bottom, full of warm and brighter tones, as representing summer's departure, while the cooler, more muted colors at the top signify the slow arrival of fall.

Jonathan Wolfe, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, embodies a diverse artistic outlook, expressed across various mediums including painting, drawing, and digital art. His vision centers on the portrayal of everyday objects and places, uncovering the intrinsic beauty amidst the ordinary. Jonathan's work has been exhibited internationally, with shows in Montreal, New York City, Los Angeles, and Shanghai. In addition to his exhibitions, he has collaborated with renowned brands such as Nike and has been an active participant in the NFT art space for nearly five years.

We'll dream of a longer summer, by Nearbound

The transition of colours in the summer to fall — the transition of light — of time —of personhood — life is a fragile and beautiful thing — Fleeting — & experience is a virtue. I use contrast as a way to draw out feeling from colour. Dreams are both Places and Unplaces & I’ve often felt the ghost of Experience is made more pronounced by its absence. The world changes just as easily as this moment changes into this next one. Like Light passing through Stained glass. This is My window.

Nearbound’s unique work is a testament to the experiences we have in our mundane day to day lives. His paintings are a celebration of what life has to offer: our darkest moments: anxiety, depression and the derealization of death. But also the opposite: softness, clarity and the joy of life. Uncommon and yet realistic. A constant lucid dream. Their work revolves around human emotion and our mind states as human beings, attempting to illustrate this through form, colour, and mark making.

The three artworks that make up the last wild west collection tell a story of my experience on crypto twitter this year. tranche is the last of the three pieces but is the middle of the account (being in the thick of it). Like autumn, a central theme of tranche is transition and the reflection that accompanies it. When the leaves on aspen trees first turn bright green before moving into yellows, oranges, and reds, it is as if the clock for winter's arrival speeds up. It is a misdirect. There is plenty of time left but the moment serves as a reminder that the current position is fleeting.

slug makes computer art with paper references they digitize then collage. They like zooming in and abstracting references to expose natural textures not visible to the naked eye. Topics cover life experiences to interactions with crypto and internet culture at large.
